Each lesson plan was born from the need to build and share learning and teaching practices focused on the prevention of bullying.
Teachers of the member countries designed, tested and presented their lessons during the various meetings to allow reflection and debate on them.
You will be very surprised discovering how many different kinds of subjects, lessons and topics a teacher can use to deal with bullying, such as reading tales, writing tales in native and English language, playing dramas, watching movies and so on: incredible to say, also a Mathematics teacher can prevent bullying teaching geometry!
In the section of films you can find a compilation of lesson plans, based on the film “The Help”, a 2011 American drama film, directed and written by Tate Taylor, adapted from Kathryn Stockett’s 2009 novel of the same name, as the teachers of our ten schools prepared and worked on, in their home schools before they presented them in the 2nd short-term training session, in Athens, March 2015.
